Privacy Policy

How Amazoneweb handles information when you use the shopping assistant.

1. About this policy

U1 Technologies Private Limited (“Amazoneweb”, “we”, “us” or “our”) operates amazoneweb.com, an online shopping discovery assistant. This policy explains what information is handled when you visit the site or use its product suggestion chat.

Amazoneweb is an independent site. It is not owned, operated, sponsored or endorsed by Amazon.com, Inc. We participate in the Amazon Associates Program. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.

2. Information handled

The site does not require an account and does not take payment for Amazon purchases. Do not send payment card details or other sensitive information in a shopping prompt.

3. How we use information

We use prompts to provide product suggestions, preserve conversation context during a chat, prevent abuse, maintain security, diagnose service issues and operate the site. We do not sell personal information.

4. Gemini and other service providers

To create a response, the site sends your prompt and relevant conversation context to Google’s Gemini API. Google processes that content under the terms and data practices that apply to the API and your project’s service tier. For unpaid Gemini API quota, Google may use prompts and responses to improve its products and may have human reviewers review them. Please do not submit sensitive, confidential or personal information. See Google’s Gemini API Additional Terms for details.

The site is hosted on DigitalOcean. When you follow a product link, your browser visits Amazon.com directly; Amazon then handles information under its own terms and privacy notice. The site also loads web fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive standard connection information from your browser.

We may share technical information with providers that host, secure or maintain the site, with authorities when disclosure is legally required, or when reasonably needed to protect users, investigate misuse or enforce our rights. Service providers may process information in countries other than India.

5. Local storage, cookies and choices

The site uses browser local storage, rather than an account, to remember recent chats. You can remove this history by clearing the site’s data in your browser. The chat assistant does not set its own cookies for sign-in or advertising. Your browser can also block third-party font requests, though the typeface may look different.

6. Retention and security

Chat history remains in your browser until you clear it or it is replaced as older chats age out. The application does not save chat histories to a user account database. Technical logs may be kept on the hosting server for the period needed to operate, secure and troubleshoot the service, subject to system log rotation.

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including encrypted connections and restricted server access. No internet service can guarantee complete security.

7. Children

Amazoneweb is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. Do not use the chat to submit information about a child or other sensitive personal information.

8. Your requests and policy updates

Depending on the law that applies, you may request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information. Since chat history is stored in your browser, you can clear it there. For other privacy requests, contact the company at the registered office address below. We may update this policy as the service or legal requirements change; the latest version will appear on this page.
